Industry Leader in Video Technology Solutions to Present Seminars on IP-based
Streaming Applications for Houses of Worship

SEATTLE — Mar. 25, 2008 — Streambox, Inc. today announced that the company will present seminars titled “Interactive Worship over IP” as part of the Technologies for Worship Conference at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) exhibition in Las Vegas. The seminars, to be held twice daily from Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17, will focus on how today’s IP-based streaming solutions are providing a richer, more interactive worship experience for church members.

Presented by Jeff Woiton, director of sales for Streambox’s houses of worship division, the seminars will cover planning considerations for implementing point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multicast video over IP networks for live and file-based video distribution and play-out, including the advantages of each option. Woiton will also illustrate how simultaneous, bi-directional streaming can bridge congregations at multiple locations. In addition, he will discuss what feature sets should be taken into consideration when choosing various video technology options. Streambox will be providing live video streams over IP between the Technologies for Worship Pavilion and Barco’s booth. 

Sponsored by Technologies for Worship Magazine, the Technologies for Worship Conference will be located at the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Conference will feature specialized workshops geared to pastors and church leaders, and focusing on education and practical implementations of technology.
