Integrated Solution for Live and File-based Video Play-out
The Streambox® Media Station is part of the management layer of Streambox's IP-centric solutions for live and file-based video play-out. Multi-format video files can be played out live via the Media station for on-air-broadcast, or video clips can scheduled for later play-out.
For file-based video play-out, control room operators or news editors browse the Media station for the video clips. The operator then creates playlists and schedules those for play-out via an easy-to-use web-based interface.

Solution Overview
The Streambox® Media Station
is a video play-out device for multi-format live and file-based video such as QuickTime wrapped
ACT-L3 files, raw ACT-L3T files, and other file formats. The Media Station provides enhanced management and prioritization for the video
play-out schedule. When the producers or editors have selected the video files or video clips they want to play, the control room operator will create the necessary playlists and schedule the lists for play-out through the Media Station's
web-based interface.
