The Streambox^® SBT3-7500 ACT-L3™ encoder is integrated in one compact device with an ultra low power requirement which makes it ideal for mobile newsgathering applications. The SBT3-7500 gives the user ultimate flexibility in terms of mobility without sacrificing video compression and quality. The ability to gather, edit, and transmit high quality live video, even from the most challenging locations, provides field reporters with ultimate flexibility when reporting and delivering breaking news.

The ACT-L3™ codec features an advanced proprietary video compression technology optimized for interlaced video. It is developed specifically for broadcast video and provides more efficient compression than MPEG and H.264. ACT-L3™ is highly adaptable to differing data rate requirements.

The robust family of ACT-L3™ Video Transport solutions features innovative error correction and bandwidth shaping technologies which enable users to manage, control, and mitigate packet loss and correct irregularities common to video delivery over packet-based networks.
